Sunday 4^th March, 2012  Retro Rockers  Bus Trip

   

Leaving A.I.C. 8:45 a.m.

 

We travel to Notley Fern Gorge for a 45 minute walk.

 Morning tea at Beaconsfield before a tour of Beaconsfield Mine.   (This is optional for those who have already been since the new facility has been open and don’t wish to go again.)

 

Lunch will be at Tamar Cove Restaurant at Beauty Point at 1:00p.m. – 2 courses followed by dancing so bring your shoes.

 

Home approx. 5:00p.m.

 

Cost for bus, morning tea, mine tour and lunch will be $40.00 per head but depending on numbers, may be a little less.

Retro Rockers Tasmania         First established in Launceston Tasmania in 2003         RETRO ROCKERS is a social club - not a dance club - where our common interest is 50's and 60's       Rock 'n' Roll and our common hobby is Rock 'n' Roll dancing.       We offer beginners to intermediate dance instruction. Regular social dances and activities as well       as some advanced workshops with mainland teachers throughout the year.       Our classes currently cost $5.00 per  person per class and this  covers both beginners and       intermediate classes and the social time after classes. (price valid @ Feb 2011)  This money is      used for social activities for the enjoyment of every member of the club, some charitable      donations and for bringing professionals over to Tasmania to add variation and expertise to our      dance instruction.        The music and dancing is what brings us together  and the social dances and friendships that we      form are what keep us coming  back each week. The BONUS is learning new dances and fine tuning      our basics.      The annual club membership is only $10 this intitles the member several concessions,through out      the year such as free dance nights etc.                                                                                __________________________________________

Retro Rockers, Rock 'n' Roll Social Club is fortunate to have the use of the facilities of     the Australian Italian Club facilities are enormous.The MONDO ROOM  has (2) dance floors of     which opens into one large floor, a stage for bands and disco’s, a full kitchen, also catering is  available. Not to mention the bar.      There is an undercover area with a BBQ, and plenty of parking, come along and meet us we will     make you very welcome.
