Hi to all our members, beginners and friends, since our last newsletter we have said goodbye to some friends moving interstate ( Jill and George Bowman ), welcomed our new members and finished course 2 of our beginner’s lessons. We have enjoyed some great social nights and filled the two vacant positions on the committee.

The Club welcomes Christine Morrison and Malcolm Wilson to the General committee. We hope they will enjoy their time on the committee working for the future enjoyment and success of the Club.

The Club extends it’s thanks to Dale and Gaylene for opening their home for a bbq on Friday 13th May for the arrival of our Rock ‘n’ Roll friends Bob and Ros and Frank and Shelley from Adelaide. All those that attended enjoyed a very relaxed, social and friendly evening.

Over time our partnership with Swing Patrol has been growing, we enjoyed another great night out together at the Saloon Bar in April, (including the Adelaide visitors) and have in recent times been invited to their swing Ball. We look forward to future events together.

Dance Teachers, Vicki, Dave, Wendy and Greg graced our shores once again with a great response. Thanks to Allan and Vicki for starting the weekend off with an open home on the Saturday, lessons continued on the following day at the AIC with great success. It has been mentioned by many that attended, that it was the most relaxed informative and enjoyable lessons to date.... Looking forward to the next one...

It’s winter time:
Last week witnessed the start of the exodus North with the Mahoney gang ( Graeme and Jean and John and Joan ) making their way to sunny Qld via Griffith, hmmmm isn’t that the dope centre of NSW…….. no offence to the Mahoney gang intended.

For those who are off to Winter Sun in their camper or Caravan, as announced at our meeting a few weeks ago, club members Gary and Ros Wise ( having a really long holiday in Queensland ) have a site available at the Kirra Caravan Park….if you are looking for a site to stay please contact Gazza on 0418 131 670.
