Our First Corporate Demo
Our dedicated Team of seven couples performed before a national insurance conference recently at the Country Club Casino, Launceston. Some initial nerves were shed after our introduction by Geoff Hayes and the team went on to perform our first progressive rock and roll to You’re Never Too Old to Rock and Roll . This was followed by the Train and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. Our finale, free dancing to Lipstick, Powder and Paint was followed by a mini lesson for the conference delegates.
Accolades to our club instructors for the professional way they conducted a lesson for the multitude of ‘beginners’ who came up on to the stage. Their rapport with the participants displayed the ease with which they handle the huge crowds of beginners coming to Retro Rockers classes on Tuesdays. The smiling faces and fun had by the conference delegates as well as the positive feedback we received proved the night was a great success. Well done to all our Demo Team.
